Hi Mommy Bloggers! I have started a new group Pinterest board “Mommy Bloggers” to pin our blog posts. This can be on any Mommy related subjects that you may blog about. Your kids, parenting tips, cooking and recipes, gardening, cleaning and organizing, traveling with a child, breastfeeding, healthy family living. Pretty much, ask yourself these questions: Am I a mom?Do I blog about my life? It’s that simple!
My goal is to get at least 10,000 followers and at least 50 collaborators (that means you!)
- FOLLOW ME ON PINTEREST
- Email me at saltinmylatte with the subject “PINTEREST GROUP BOARD”
You can start pinning to the board as soon as I add you. You will get a notification that you have been added and it will show up in your boards.
WHAT IF MY CHILDREN ARE GROWN?
Dang it, you’re still a mom right?! They’re still your children! Join us Mama! Even if you’re a grandma. Tell us about those munchkins. I’d love to hear the stories. This goes for adopted children’s mommies too.
WHY SHOULD I JOIN?
When you post something to the board, all the followers of ALL of the collaborators (pinners) will see your post. That means if we have 50 collaborators pinning to the board, and each of those collaborators have 100 followers, your pin would reach 5000 followers! It’s a very powerful tool.
HOW OFTEN CAN I PIN TO THE BOARD?
There’s no real limit. Just try to follow simple courtesy rules.
1. Do not flood the board with a bunch of pins at once. My rule of thumb is 5-6 at a time, no more than 10.
2. Try to remember not to pin the same photo of your post to the board. If you want to post 2-3 separate photos from the same post, that is fine. It is a good way to get more exposure. Just try not to overdo it. For instance, posting 8 pictures from the same post is not cool.
DO I HAVE TO REPIN?
No! That’s the beauty of a group board. All of your followers can see the board and all of the pins that everyone has posted to it. Of course, if you want to pin it again to another board, you are more than welcome. But your followers will see it in their feeds when the bloggers post.
WHAT IF I WANT TO LEAVE?
Well, I would be sorry to see you go, but of course you have no obligation to stay. Any time you want to leave, you can go to the settings of the board and click on the button that says to leave the board. As courtesy, I’d like for you to let me know that you’re leaving though so I’m not wondering where you disappeared to.
IS THERE A POSSIBILITY THAT I WILL BE REJECTED?
Honestly, it’s very unlikely that you will be rejected. If you are a mom and blog about your lifestyle with your children (small or older), then you’ll probably be added. Whether you’re new blogger or pro blogger, all are welcome!
