Crock Pot Taco Chili

chiliI know that many people have tried taco chili or taco soup, but this is my own recipe based off of a few that I had tried. I hope you all enjoy it. This is what we’re having for dinner! YUM!

1 lb hamburger, thawed
1/2 large onion
1 large can tomato juice
2-4 tsp sugar to taste
3 Tbsps Worcestershire sauce
2 packets taco seasoning
1 packet ranch seasoning
1 can pinto beans, drained
1 can black beans, drained
1 can corn, drained
1/2 cup white rice (not instant)
3 cups hot water

1. Fry hamburger and drain.
2. Add to slow cooker: hamburger, onion & tomato juice sugar, Worchestershire sauce, taco seasoning & ranch seasoning. Stir well. Cook for 3 hours
3. Add pinto beans, black beans, corn, white rice, & water. Cook until rice is tender.

This recipe is so versatile! You can eat it in a bowl straight, with crackers, or on tortillas. Add some cheese for a yummy twist. Use it as a dip for your tortilla chips. It’s a great crowd-pleaser for football game parties… just make sure to clear the room within 30 minutes. 😉
